We get the question all the time, 'How long does my Instructor or CRSO certificate last?'
The answer is this: The NRA Instructor certifications do not expire so to speak, however, the NRA requires instructors to log a minimum of 2 courses a year in at least one discipline they can instruct in and every 2 years they must go into their instructor portal at www.nrainstructors.org log in and re-pay the credentialing fees. Of course the NRA maintains the right to pull credentials at anytime. They only act on this when they find Certified Instructors doing things that are not in line with the NRAs methodologies, they are using the NRA name improperly and the most common reason is when NRA certified instructors break safety protocols over and over as in this video. If you took the time to watch the video you can see that they break rule #1 (Always keep the gun pointed in a safe direction) 12 times in under 4 minutes. The NRA stripped that instructors credentials.
We will cover this in every Instructor level class in more detail.
